Public Policy Research and Analysis
Bringing Issues Into Focus

Morningside Research and Consulting conducts customized policy research and analysis to give public administrators and elected officials information to guide their decision-making.  We provide current information and thorough, methodical analysis vital to understanding the issues before making decisions.

Public policy development occurs within the context of the financial environment in which an organization exists.  We work with clients to identify how public resources are being used and how reflective the allocation of resources is in meeting the needs and priorities of an organization.

Organizational Review and Evaluation Consulting
Building and Maintaining Sustainable Programs

Morningside Research and Consulting leads organizations through the process of evaluating their internal structures and processes as well as the impact they have on their clients and customers.  In addition to reviewing and developing policies and procedures, we provide staff training to ensure a smooth transition to implementing our recommendations.

We have developed the New Logic Sustainability Toolª to measure the degree to which public organizations are effective in leveraging their resources to achieve their mission.  Our tool assesses six areas and allows us to develop solutions tailored to each organization.  Our solutions are focused on developing capacity within an organization to work more effectively and sustain their efforts over time.

One aspect of evaluating the effectiveness of public programs in meeting their goals and missions is aligning computer technology and business practices.  We measure the effectiveness of available technology and improve the capabilities and reporting functions of software systems to better meet the needs of staff who interact with the systems as well as managers who rely on data to make decisions.

Morningside Research and Consulting is certified as a woman-owned business enterprise by the State of Texas and the City of Austin.
